Hannah Brenner Johnson

Hannah Brenner Johnson is a law professor and author. Her research explores the complex intersection of law and gender. She is particularly interested in manifestations of inequality that occur within systems and her scholarship focuses, broadly, on issues concerning the legal profession on the one hand, and sexual and domestic violence on the other. She has vast experience as a professor, teaching at both the law school and undergraduate levels. In addition to her work as scholar and educator, Brenner Johnson is an experienced academic and nonprofit leader. She is currently a Professor of Law and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at California Western School of Law. On July 1, she will become the Dean and Professor of Law at Southern Illinois University Simmons Law School.
